Product description

Maderlim is a colourless water-based acrylic resin primer, designed for the preventive protection of timber. It acts as an impregnating base that penetrates deeply to protect the surface against destructive biological agents such as insects, fungi and woodworm.

To guarantee its effectiveness, its formula incorporates two active biocidal ingredients: permethrin (0.06%) as an insecticide and IPBC (1.30%) as a fungicide.

Key properties

• Triple action: Offers insecticidal, fungicidal and water-repellent capacity in a single application.
• Moisture regulation: Works as a water repellent against external moisture, but is fully breathable, allowing the timber to breathe naturally.
• Surface preparation: Developed as a pre-treatment and preparation for open-pore finishes. It is the ideal primer before applying Maderlim Decorative Wood Stain.
• Convenient application: Being water-based, it is odourless, non-flammable and quick-drying.

• Structures: Beams, columns, pergolas and timber houses.
• Openings and enclosures: Doors, windows, balconies and fences.
• Furniture: Indoor furniture, garden furniture and street furniture.
