Finger-jointed exterior timber, 10 m² pack
Finger-jointed exterior timber, 10 m² pack
Finger-jointed exterior timber is made by gluing together lengths of wood with an interlocking toothed joint, producing longer, more stable boards. The system makes better use of the timber and helps reduce warping.
It is a suitable option for decking, cladding and a range of outdoor timber projects, provided the right treatment and maintenance are used.
Important: for correct installation, fit a shim at the joints and use joists every 30 cm.
