It is used for laying outdoor decking. Iroko wood is one of the most popular tropical hardwoods on the market and is currently used primarily for the manufacture of wood flooring and cladding.

With a density of 650 kg/m3, it is extremely resistant to fungi and resistant to termites. Iroko wood has an excellent finish, leaving its surface very smooth and pleasant to the touch. Furthermore, it is easy to glue, nail, and screw, making it widely used for exterior and interior carpentry.

Finally, note that the color of iroko wood changes due to light exposure, however a simple application of teak oil is enough to restore its natural color.
